It's a little weird.

Get on the ledge. The pipe should be above your head. Move away from the pipe, then turn and face it. Jump at it and attempt to make your hands hit it.

My problem was that I was trying to jump straight up and grab it. You actually have to jump AT it instead.

Thanks, I thought I tried that... bbut maybe I was still holding the pool cue. I'll give it a shot.

That shouldn't matter. Weapons automatically disappear when climbing/hanging/whatever. It's hard to explain, it took me a few attempts before I grabbed it.

I'm almost done with the game and I haven't had anything else like that happen. Don't know what it is about that spot.

Does EB still have the special going for Buffy? I already played through it (with a friend's copy) but I'd love to pick it up again if it's only $10.
