Yes, do go buy the GC. It is the best system out there, all the games are awesome, ANIMAL CROSSING beats mindless games like GTA to HALO, MARIO PARTY rocks, MARIO SUNSHINE is so much better than JAKK AND DANDER, the graphics are much better, the engines run on raw hard power so it's better than the other 2 systems. much smoother, not knocking the other two mind you (I do still play my N64 still, as I didn't like playstation 1) , but this is my opinion after testing the other system, and chosed GC and am happy with my choice! Sure they dont have Final Fantasy, but I know GC will have a kick ass RPG that will take a page out of FF series and make it one better. So I say get the system for in the long run, it will be a good investment.

i have a gc, barely ever play it... pretty much stick to xbox (lately anyway). I got mine for the RE games... 3d ninny stuff doesnt really interest me much. Sega sports abandoning the system doesnt help. Oh well, so long as it has RE4 on it someday its worth having. All of that said, it really depends on whether or not u like the games on it.
