Should I wait for NEW XBOX System ~@@
I heard Mircosoft going Launch New Version of XBOX System in 2003, New XBOX look smaller & lighter (Kinda PS1 idea) Price Range: $125 - $145.
Should I wait or Get the Limited XBOX System w/ 2 Sega game now ??
Thankzzzzzzz

Depends on whether you're planning to buy the 2 games anyway. If you factor in about $40-$50/per game (assuming the price doesn't drop) you'll end up paying $205 to $225 min. You can always wait for a deal on the new system when it comes out.
The smaller system may not be as durable as the heavier ones either. Heavier sometimes is more durable.
Either way, if you plan on buying the X-Box, you may want to take advantage of some of the game deals going on right now. Keep in mind, there is usually only a 90 day warranty on the games.
It's a good time to own a X-Box with all the deals.

So the new X-Box is just a more compact version of the current one? So what was all the talk about the new X-Box going head-to-head with the PS3? Just talk?

I bought like 3-4 PS2 games before I bought my PS2.
Waited and ended up getting a good PS2 deal (at the time) using the Virgin/AMEX discount.

So will the X-Box2 go the PS2 route and be backwards compatible with al the X-Box games currently available or will it go the Nintendo route with no backwards compatibility?

no one knows...only thing that's been "discovered" so far is that "xboxnext.com" has been registered by Microsoft....no specs on development yet...there may be hints at this years E3, but the original Xbox is still too early in it's cycle to start hamstringing it with giving consumers the ominous feeling that they should wait

I forgot to mention the Special Unified Carbon video processor it might have also. I believe the official acronym for the architecture (the kekeke parallel processor + video processor) is S.U.C-kekeke but that's speculation on my part. It's pretty fancy though.

QUOTE]I'd wait for the Target deal, I heard there is a coupon for $15 xboxes!~[/QUOTE]
I figured out what he actually he heard. The games that he did hear about being supposedly $15 dollars are 15 dollars cheaper than the week before. The guy is just a little hard of hearing so give the guy a break.[

Or he could have been shopping at the Target in Blaine, Missouri. I heard the folks who work at the Target there aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

I''m positive and even read it somewhere, sorry forgot where. Sony would be idiotic to dump there old tech and make it useless, putting PS3 and xbox2 on even ground. Likewise Xbox has gathered a huge fanbase and they woulkd not want to start strictly from scratch. If these new consoles rely on completely different tech then both componies will at least have you be able to connect via an adapter of some sort to play your old games
