returns

I've got a sealed halo and sealed mechassault, but i already own both of these games, does anyone have ideas outside of ebay as to where i can return these for maybe store credit?

Walmart, Best Buy, most anywhere will take things back this time of year for store credit... Although it may count against your "quota" if you don't have a gift receipt. Some stores have timeframes within which you can only make so many returns without a receipt.

I also have a sealed (Tony Hawk 4 GC) game and wasnt sure to do with it since it was sent for Xmas w/out the receipt. I had bought it about a week b4 Xmas when it went on sale at Best Buy.. what to do with it I dont know.. maybe take it to CC like brkhrt7 for a store credit (does this work? I dont even know what store my aunt bought it from)

I returned over $200 of sealed stuff to Best Buy without reciepts and got a Gift card no questions asked.

I have almost $300 to return. It might be as much as $400 so I hope they are as nice to me

Thats why I went during lunch the day after christmas. There was such a huge line behind me I didnt think they would put up much of a fight.

It's fine to talk about stores that have liberal return policies this time of year at which you can return items without having to lie. However, please leave any suggestions that involve lying or any other sort of deceitful/deceptive behavior out of this thread.

I glad some people have had better luck than I did at BestBuy. I wanted to exchange a DVD. It still had half a BestBuy sticker on it and they wouldn't let me do an exchange without the receipt. No more BestBuy for me.
