PS2 for Christmas.... which games??
I'm thinking/hoping I've got me a PS2 coming for Christmas. It will complete my triad and I will then own all 3 consoles BUT.... I'm wondering which games I should get for it? Such as exclusives that I can't get on xbox or GameCube. I do not like fighting, racing or sports games. Nor do I do any online gaming with any console (Israel and all...). I do like action/adventure good single player games. Any suggestions??
1. GTA 3 and GTA:VC
2. Others.... ?

FFX is the only PS2 exclusive game I've been blown away buy sense getting the system in may.
Contra is decent. They just made it a little too complicated (with the lock charater, lock aim, etc. and charge shots.) having to use that many buttons is too much for a Contra game and sort of takes away the old school mindless twitch shooter aspect.
Kingdom Hearts looks great. I'm getting if for X-mas, so I can't give any personal opinion on it yet.
Socom is supposedly awesome if you like that type of game, not my cup of tea.
Devil May Cry is a love hate game, I don't like it that much, but it's worth checking out, as is MGS2 for the same reason.
Ratchet and Clank looks like an awesome platformer.
Sly Cooper was well reviewed as well, but maybe best as a rental as it can be beaten in under 10 hours.
The next two are for anyone else looking for ideas, as you don't like racing or fighting games.
Gran Turismo 3 is the best racing game ever. Period. I just wasn't "blown" away by it because I played the first 2 to death and knew what to expect.
Virtua Fighter 4 is pretty good. I just picked it up for $20 yesterday and played it for a few hours.
I'm looking forward to checking out Rygar sometime in the future, as it looks very promisiong. Though some comparisons to Devil May Cry lowered my expectations some.
That's really all I can think of off the top of my head as far as exclusives go.

Hitman 2 is really good. A bit on the violent side.
Max Payne, Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons Of Liberty, Jak And Daxter and GT3 are all greatest hits titles and all can be had for $20.

I can't tell you the last time I played a real-deal platform game, but I played Ratchet and Clank for a few minutes at Best Buy the other day, and I was hooked. Combo of the gameplay plus the cool characters in the game.
Devil May Cry was worth buying at $50, and it's definitely worth buying at $20.
