Why Live and NFL2K3 are me so mad!!!

Ok, I have had Xbox live for about a week. Since I have a life I also have to work I have only played NFL2K3 about 5 times. My user record is Wins 0, Loses 1, Drops 1. It should also read, Losers who quit right before they quit 3! The last three games I have played were great games. They were very close up till the very end. End every time the other player quits the game. I am really pissed about this. I have left negative feedback on each player that has done that, but what does that really do. It's not like Xbox is going to ban the player and lose all the money that they will make from them. I think that the only way to remedy this to to count these as drops, or as loses for the other player. I know that sometimes that my broadband will drop out, but come on, quiting right before you lose. That is weak!

This is why we need a good DVD talk NFL2K3 league. Its also why you need a good list of friends that you can play against.

I agree, quitting is really immature. Put me down on your friends list, I don't play 2k3 often, I'm not that great, but I also won't quit if I'm losing.

Haha...I remember having to put up with "pullers" back on the Xband network on the SNES and Genesis. Players who would lose their match would PULL their connection before the game ended to avoid having a loss on their record. Idiots. They never learn.

I thought that it did count as a loss. That sucks, one of the things I hated about playing NFL2k1 on Dreamcast online was the quitters.

Does it matter? I always assume 95% of disconnects are actual losses when I win. Also I thought for ranked games a disconnect was a loss?

Here you will find a list of DVDTalkers, myself included, that will give you a good game at NFL2K3. We're not organized yet but if there's enough interest we could start a league.

Considering, IIRC Fever does it, I'm surprised that NFL 2k3 doesn't keep a quitting/withdrawing stat alongside the wins/losses record.

I've played 12 complete games and should be 7-5 but my record says 2-3. Why would some games just not register? They need to fix this problem......

Are you sure that all of your games were "Ranked"?

Yes FEVER does list a %disconnect before you start a game. note: Disconnects count against you more than losses do! (in NFL FEVER that is.}
