Maybe you guys could have a super smash bros tournament at a local drive in movie theater? Right there the 90 feet + could come in handy.

Keep in mind that Rumble would suck the batteries dry pretty quick. That's why Nintendo left it out.

Good point. I never considered getting one because I have the plain Pelican G3 and it sucks. The analog isn't as sensitive, making games like Super Monkey Ball (that require precise control) nearly unplayable.

My wavebird is flawless on all my GC games. No problem with Monkey Ball 2.

I went on a xbox game buying binge today(xbox live and some xbl compatible games) (dont worry im getting a GC games as presents for the holidays so i was told not to buy any :-) till after then) but i saw it and decided to pick up the Wavebird since everyone recommends it. Tried it out first with Godzilla Destroy all monsters. What a controller. I love it already. Couldnt stop playing godzilla with it. Thanks for the recommendation everyone . Now to run the network cable for XBL . nahhh more godzilla for now :-)

I bought my first WaveBird the week it came out, and I love it. I bought my second one later the same week.
I had to replace my batteries once already. If you are playing and you experience slight pauses when using the controller, replacing the batteries seems to help. The only issue I have run into is that my new 2.4GHz Cordless phone occassionally interferes (or receives interference) when using the WaveBird. I have not experimented with changing channels, but that is next on my list. |
I would love to buy one too, but I'm just curious that will they launch the Wirebird with other colors? I would like to have my controller match with my console.

I mean the Wavebird with other colors (such as Platimum or Jet Black).
