I think you had to pay for the GTA game, then got $50 off the total ... So it was like $199 for the PS2 then add $49.99 for the game, but you then got $50 off the bundle (they showed it as then $149 for the PS2, but did not indicate the total $$$ after buying the game). Still a good deal.

Toys R Us has this bundle on Friday and Saturday:
PS2, extra controller and DVD remote, Grand Theft Auto Vice City (or Test Driver, your choice), and Tony Hawk 4, for ~ $279, which is supposed to be a $50 savings.
Is this any good? I currently don't have any system and was looking to pick up something.

The CompUSA deal is only for GTA3, not Vice City.
If you want a console now, I think your best bet is to get it through CircuitCity.com and use the 20% MSN wallet rebate. If you do that, it effectively comes out to a $160 PS2 and $40 for GTA Vice City, for $200 total, which is the same as the CompUSA deal (but you get Vice City instead of the old GTA3). True, you just get MSN dollars through for a future purchase.

Yeah ours in VA sold out of the game in 5 mins. too, they said they wouldn't honor the deal without the game. Alot of people were raising a fuss about that, particularly since the ad didn't say anything about it. Instead we went to the military base and it was cheap there and empty so that was good.
