So much for the term "only on X-Box". Bestbuy.com has the pre-order up for Metal Gear Solid Substance for PS2. They have a release date scheduled for January 1st, 2003.

I thought it was coming out around May or so? Oh well, I'll be picking it up. It's worth it simply for the VR Missions.

Never was "only on X-Box". MS paid for the exclusivity for X number of months. I'm not sure about January 1st though, I think that is a little too early.

If you've seen some of the ads running on a number of the cable channels ( mostly Comedy Central), you'll notice they have the tag "only on X-Box" in front of them.

I thought it was coming for PS2 in March. But if the January 3rd date holds up it's all the better.

Will the PS2 version include the "MGS2: sons of liberty" game or just the VR mission, snake tales, etc??

i dont get it...so ppl are goin to get the EXACT same game plus VR missions for 50 bucks?

kinda like xmen 1.5........

I think 350+ VR Missions, Snake Tales, plus you can play as Snake later in the game, and a few other characters.
