There will eventually be a PC port, but it will be a year or two from now, just like with GTA3.

You won't see it on any other consoles though. Sony has the whole series as exclusive (except for late pc ports) through 2004, and I imagine they'll renew the agreement before it runs out if the series continues to see this well.

Seven months between releases, actually. October 23, 2001 for PS2 vs. May 21, 2002 for the PC.

I would assume alot of people buy PS2s just to be able to play these games, so I would think Sony would lock them up for a while.

I may be wrong but I seem to remember reading that GTA series being a Sony exclusive through 2004.

The PC version of GTA3 has sold well and is considered better than the PS2 version. I have no doubt that Vice City will get a PC port in a few months.

Hate the controllers, almost all of the ps only titles etc. I know you can get different controllers but still....

Hate the controllers?? That is the best controller on the market, unless you like that huge monster called the X-Box controller.

Nope. I like the gamecube but I'd get the X-box if it came out with a few more games that I liked. Can't you just hate a product? Every system has got it's good and bad points...Didn't mean to get anyone on a hissy fit. I just never really got into the Playstation...I hate Burger King too...am I an idiot for that? Am I a Mcdonald's loyalist? Wink wink laugh laugh. Jesus.
