I forgot to mention that it sounds like you have to use the coupon to get the deal. Wether or not this is true, who knows. There was a stack of 100 flyers so It shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding. but do you usually have to pay money to pre-order a title at EB? How exactly is that beneficial? Why not just buy it online at BestBuy.com or something?

I don't have to have a game in my hands on the day of release. It'll still be just as cool if I wait. I usually preorder from half.com and pick up most games for around 30 bucks and most come to me brand new anyway. I stopped buying things from EB when they started opening all their games and tried to sell them as new. New means unopened. Once it's opened, it stops being new. Maybe this is a good deal for those who are too lazy to sell their stuff on half.com.

Sony titles have been priced at $39.99 for a while - starting with Mark of Kri I think. There are a few current releases out now that are that price - Sly Cooper and Ratchet and Clank come to mind.

I preordered The Getaway for free when trading in 2 games right around the time the Spiderman DVD came out.
Here's how the trade worked. Whenever you trade in two titles you can get a new game for only $10. Thats for the $50 games...if the game you want is $40, then its free...if the game you want is $60 (like Ninja Assault w/ Guncon2) then you pay $20. So, basically EB will give you $40 for any two games you trade in that have not hit the $19.99 mark yet. So, for those of you with "soon to be greatest hits" titles, I would trade those in for a newer game. Thats what I did with Ace Combat 4 and World Tour Soccer 2002 to get The Getaway.
