If anybody's interested in quality opponents and the thrill of league play, feel free to check out http://pub45.ezboard.com/bpowerhousesportsleagues . The head guy has run successful leagues for a decade (fantasy sports through Dreamcast leagues), so what it lacks in style (it's just a forum-based league), it makes up in substance.
Apparently there are two NFL teams open, but team drafts haven't taken place in the basketball and hockey leagues yet, as player sign-up continues for a couple more days.
