Zelda Bonuses...
Several sites are reporting that preorders of Zelda in Japan will contain a bonus disc, with some awesome material.

Pretty freaking cool. Imagine if they took the graphics shown at spaceworld for the previous/other zelda title and updated the N64 versions to that calibur. Unlikely I know, but I like to dream. Great news nevertheless.

Reports are coming in from all over the place that the new Famitsu Weekly reveals a huge bonus for Japanese gamers who preorder The Legend of Zelda: Kaze no Takuto.
The first people to preorder will receive a bonus disc that contains The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the never before released Ura-Zelda, and information and/or videos of F-Zero GC and Biohazard 4.
It is currently unknown whether Ocarina of Time has been upgraded at all to take advantage of the GameCube hardware, but this is the full and complete game. Ura-Zelda is the expansion pack for OoT that was in development for the 64 Disk Drive, but was never released. It is essentially a remix with new dungeons and possibly other new content.

I doubt they'll spend the money to translate Ura Zelda and then give it for free here. I'd certainly pay extra for a special edition of Zelda though. We can also hope for Ocarina of Time, I'd play it again on my GC.

This doesn't seem like something they'd just give away. They could sell a disc with the game for $19.99 and make a mint.
One bonus they could do: an e-card that unlocks the original Zelda in Animal Crossing.

I think Zelda was relatively large compared to games like Excitebike or Mario Bros.

Rock! I looked at the magazine scans and it sure looks like the real deal. I reallyreallyreally hope they do something like this here, it would be huge. I had to sell my Gold Copy of Zelda: TOoT to pay for my Gamecube and I would love to be abe to play it again. heck i'd even pay extra for it and the Biohazard 4 preview.

I would love getting Oot packed in with the new Zelda. I have it already, but when I feel the need to play it, I'm going to have to break the N64 out of storage, and I already have too many damn systems hooked up as it is.

The speculation that NOA is going to give away TOoT and MM is very cool. I never finished TOoT and never picked up MM, so I'm crossing my fingers for this.
Frankly, I'd rather have MM than UZ, which, from all accounts, is essentially a tweaked TOoT rather than a whole different game.
Although they won't be doing any more than a port, I hope the GC's increased resolution will make the games look cleaner than they did on the N64.
