Which Collection is Bigger? Your DVD's or Games?

Not too long ago it was hands down Games, (PC, PS2, Xbox, DC, etc) but, lately is it seems that my games to DVD ratio is switching sides. I have about 200 DVD's and about 150 Games. The only ones that count are retail versions. No warez or demos allowed. Granted the price difference does allow you to buy more DVD's but, there are so many great games out there that it does make your weekly decisions at little more difficult. So, which of your collections seems to be growing faster?

hmmm my dvd collection is definitely growing faster than my games. I've been buying games longer than I have been dvds, so the dvds are still behind my collection of games. I think my dvds will go beyond my games sometime next year.

games:300+
dvds:200

DVDs. I don't tend to keep most games very long after beating them.

My games far outweigh my DVDs(have 101 of those, to a couple hundred games). I pretty much quit buying DVDs - I've only bought one in 10 weeks. I've pretty much lost the urge to own any more DVDs, except for Dog Soldiers, which I will eventually buy. I would sell off most of my DVDs, but I would take a huge loss on them. Maybe I'll put them up for trade for some games sometime.

Definitely DVDs but I probably have more money invested in games.

No doubt. Between extra controllers, network adapters, extension cables, game systems do have a larger upfront cost. Unless of course you have a high end DVD player.

DVDs definitely. I don't remember the last time I kept a game once I beat it and I try not to be in the middle of too many at once.

Can't compare....

DVD 1512
Games 30

The problem with games for me is that I sell them frequently.

Oh man! You come to a site called dvdtalk but have no dvd's?! That's madness!

My dvd collection is much larger than my game collection as well. I usually sell off games that I don't play anymore.

DVDs easily.

Unless a game is AAA or has replay value it's buy it, beat it, eBay it.

DVDs by far. I'm not big on revisiting games once done. After I beat them it's off to Ebay they go. My sports games tend to have the longest shelf life.

190 DVDs

If I had kept all my games since Atari it would look like this

190 DVDs
700 games
