optical cable problem

Is it just me or is it really hard to squeeze an optical cable end into the advanced AV pack for the XBOX. This is the first time working with optical cords for me so bear with my stupidity.

Make sure you remove the plastic/rubber nipple on the end first.

There should just be an exposed bulb.

Dang, my post is kinda turning me on.

Yeah, you do want to make sure that the rubber cover is off. Also make sure that you are using a toslink optical cable, and not a mini optical. They are used for mini-disc players, and other portable, digital devices. It's a different cable, also called an optical cable. But from the way you are explaining the issue, I'm sure that it is the clear rubber cover that is still on. Enjoy!

Pretty sure it's just you. If the nipple if off, it'll slide right in.

Sometimes it's little tight, a few taps with a hammer usually does the trick.

Ok ok just kidding
