Buffy problems?
I just got Buffy and it really is a great game! The one liners are killing me! I've only seen one or two TV eps so it's really neat sort of experiencing it all for the first time. But.... my xbox seems to be having trouble with this game. I'll be going along through a level and just as a new vampire will be ready to come out, the screen freezes for a second or two like its loading. The game doesn't freeze up, it just stalls. Like the xbox needs to get more info from the disc so it stops to read it. It doesn't do it with every vampire just once in a while but it really takes away from the whole in game experience
Am I alone here or do all xbox and buffy systems perform this way? And if I'm not alone, any ideas as to what may help in fixing it (outside of exchanging xboxs that is.... my box works fine with every other game I own, it's just Buffy that is giving me "trouble")

I haven't had trouble with Buffy or any of my XBox games during play, though I have gotten a couple of 'disc read' errors when I've first put in a couple of discs.

so your Buffy doesn't "stall" here and there as a new vampire will just be getting ready to attack? it's smooth the whole time until loading the next level or sub-level?

Ack. I'm an idiot, and I guess that's what I get for not reading closely enough.
Yes, I've noticed a couple of minor stutters. Maybe somewhere between three to five times from start to finish?

I experience those little stutters as well. I guess it's just the way they programmed it. I hear they been working on this game since the Playstation. Which can explain why some of the game implementation isn't as good as it could be. (Also explains why the game takes place in season 3 of the show) I'm sure if they had more time with the Xbox they could have programmed it so there wouldn't be any loading screens at all.

well i just played through the cemetery level and had no stutters at all. There were two or three stutters or stalls in levels one and two combined. Now level three has been spotless (and a BLAST, man those skeletons are fun!
)
Let me thank you both though for sharing and just being honest. I was hoping my xbox wasn't acting up and it appears that it is an in game thing. /me is reall greatful for this great forum!! And if you haven't tried Buffy yet, go rent it! it's a blast!
