Zombies Ate My Neighbors

Anyone else remember this game? One of my favorites and I still play about once every other week on my SNES, but have never gotten around to actually beating it. The co-op mode on this gives this game endless replay.

Review:

If LucasArts ever decides to make a next generation version of this with co-op and online play I'll be as giddy as a schoolgirl.

I remember this game and it was awesome. I liked how each level had a cheesy title, like from a 50's Horror film.

I do remember playing this game coop with my brother and loving it. Didn't you get a weedwhacker as a weapon?

This game is great, best played 2player.... I had a blast finishing this with a friend of mine (although at times, it was VERY frustrating).

Yeah, it definitely got pretty challenging towards the end, but it's a fun game. I still play it every once in a while.

Wasn't this a title in Maniac Mansion as well? That game still gives me the creeps. I hate it when one of the family members catches you and it plays that creepy music. I've never played Zombies Ate My Neighbors but I've seen it in a few second hand stores around here for pretty cheap so I'll pick it up since it is obviously reccomended here.

Since Lucas arts did both of the games, they included Night of the tenticles secret bonus level in the game zombies ate my neighbors. A great homage. and the tenticles were great.

ZAMN is hard and definitely an old school game. The things kids nowadays have missed...

What was the follow-up?

Ghoul Patrol. I've never played it, but I remember reviews stating it wasn't as good as ZAMN.
