I prefer the layout of the original controller, but the smaller one is more comfortable for extended play. My hands ache after using the original for too long. Still, I rarely use the smaller one. Of course my three year old son usually uses that one. :)

I'm okay with both Xbox controllers. I'm more peeved that I spent $299 a year ago for a system with no games, when now I can get that system with 2 games for $100 less. Oh well. I guess I'll just know to wait 9 months or so before picking up "Xbox 2"

I guess I'll just know to wait 9 months or so before picking up "Xbox 2" I bought the X-Box in November 2001 for $299 and I've been very happy with my purchase. I own 2 original controllers and 2 s-controllers. I prefer different controllers with different games. I'll take a year of fun with the world's best console over 2 games and $100 discount. Think of it this way... The current package will just help sell more X-Box's, increasing the user base, and making it better off for all X-Box owners. |
No reason to argue with his opinion. You think you're $100 is worth it because you got to own and enjoy the console for 9 months, he doesn't. $100 means more to some people than others.
