Alien Vs Predator 2 PC question

I'd really like to play this game - I had fun playing the demo of the first game although I never bought the full version.

But the demo of AVP2 has me wondering. It is SO dark I can't see what the hell I'm doing at all. I mean I can't accomplish anything other then getting to the downstairs level 2. And I got stuck in some lower area I fell into. I can't see a way of adjusting the brightness. I'm using a GF4 4400ti.

I understand atmosphere and everything but I've gotta be able to see enough to know what I'm doing...is the whole game like this, or is there a way of adjusting the brightness?

night vision and flares are there. if your an alien, you can craw out and throw on different vision modes. same as predator.

the full game has darkness in it, but you have the ablity to counter it by simply using one of the many things given to you.

You have a shoulder mounted flashlight that you have to use... check your control config to find out what key it's bound to.

Thanks...found the light. The demo just doesn't have very good documentation. I couldn't figure out how to crouch either until I went though my keys.

Guess I have to buy it now

Not a bad game.
