Poll : Favorite Genre of Sports Games

Well, I don't know if "genre" is the right term here. I was just wondering which sport is evryone's favorite to play as a video game. By sales, football is the clear winner, but personally, it always plays slow and I prefer faster games like hockey.
So what's your favorite?

Football is about the only sports game I play on my consoles.

I've thought about getting an NBA game, but I don't know how much I'd like it.

I do have a fishing game if that counts as a sport: Bass Strike.

wouldn't it be cool to have an internet fishing game and have tournaments with other live players around the world. PS@ needs to get on that...

Toss up between Football and Basketball. My two favorites right now are NCAA 2003 and NBA 2K2.

I only like hockey sports games. Fast, easy to get into, not much thinking required. Just what I want from a game

No way I can pick one. NFL, NBA, and MLB games are a must for me. My favorite will depend on what season it is.

I also love Tony Hawk, but the other so called extreme games I can live without.

My favorite sport is football. My favorite sports games are golf and basketball (I voted for golf cuz it's the underdog).

Football - Still king...
Basketball - okay except for the herky jerky player movement...
Hockey - Decent games but not my bag...
Baseball - Needs alot of work...

I voted for football but maybe I should have chosen extreme sports as I like SSX Tricky, Tony Hawk and the BMX/Motocross games.

I'm going with Hockey, but Golf is up there too. I'd like to see rugby get more attention too, it kicked ass on the genesis.
