NASCAR Thunder 2003 Question

Does this game have a feature that keeps the cars bunched up all the time? Where no matter how good youre doing, the last lap will be a battle? I have always hated the games that makes you a sitting duck if you are the leader on the last lap...I dont know for sure what this is called, that no matter how bad or good you are doing the cars will always run together it seems...I am trying to decide to buy this game or not, I would appreciate any input or thoughts on this matter....I would be getting XBOX format.

i also have a question regarding replays. Last year's game only showed you the race "highlights"; does this one replay the whole race ??

I believe what you said is a feature that you can turn off in the game. I owned one back in like 1999 or 2000 of nascar and there is an option where you can turn it off, I believe it was called "catch up"..... or something.....

At any rate, I believe if it was possible to turn it off back then, I'm sure you can do the same for the new game.

I think that might just be NASCAR, they've been fiddling with the rules for years to achieve just this result.
