im not sure how many of you play ddr, but these pads are awesome
. its like 10000x better than my old soft pads. i can actually full combo some songs (mostly basic and a few trick) that i couldnt before with my soft pads. best thing about this is that i can play doubles
.

man, you might want to rent a rug doctor and clean those carpets a bit!
those are cool pads. a buddy of mine who owns a few video games stores gets pads like that in. they are pretty sweet.

umm, yeah, they are pretty expensive. but they work great
. it registers the steps very accurately and withstand a lot of pressure (i weigh about 280). the only downside to it is that it cost almost 300 bucks.. that and you have to buy them off of ebay *shudder*. but if you were like me, and the soft pads were crapping out in about a month or so, its worth it.
here are a few ebay auctions
1 metal pad
2 metal pads
it only costs about 100 more to get 2 of them, because of shipping (about 60 bucks for 2, about 45 for 1).
oh, and ive been meaning to get my floors cleaned, just havent had time, school, work, working out, and of course, ddr
