PS2 Network Adapter with Bellsouth DSL

I picked up a NA over lunch, and am anxious to get started, but my router isn't coming until next week. I could of course just unplug the connection from my PC and instead route it to the PS2, but Bellsouth is one of those wonderful providers that requires you to log in. I would assume this is possible given that dial-up is supported, but I want to make sure before I run out and buy SOCOM.

Yeah one of the questions when setting up the NA IIRC is login and password.
