I know X-box magazine has done an article but I think we have better ideas than them.So got any ideas?
I like the idea of using all the weapons and vehicles of the Covenants.

The AI is awesome but I'd like a slightly larger variety of enemies to kick ass on -- if only for the additional eye candy. Hopefully since Halo 2 is at least partially on Earth (probably all, but you never know) -- we'll see some water action and whatnot.

Less of "the flood", more of the usable vehicles. In fact, make everything usable. Let me pick up objects and throw them (besides grenades).
Let me commandeer one of the cap ships and lay waste to the other cap ships. I have a feeling that is going to be what happens in the first part of halo 2, based on the trailer.
Let me have the ability to take out a drop ship.
Let me listen in on alien conversations, while standing/sitting out of their view.
Up the frame rate to 60fps.

I hated the flood too, but only cuz there were so many of them. I like that they were there... they added more of a challenge to the game. Also - the scene where they first come in was classic (sure, it was stolen from a movie, but it was still really fun).
I want just what the trailer promises - to allow me to single-handedly take down an enemy ship and then a fleet of ships and then take care of the scourge on earth. I love the new lighting and reflections. I want more diversity in the levels and a few more weapons and a few more vehicles and a little more fleshed out story. I also want a few places in the game where we can do fun stuff like blowing a warthog over a cliff.

Bots for sure.
I was real let down to find you couldn't practice multiplayer with Bots in Halo. I used to sped hours playing Perfect Dark with bots so I could put a hurtin on my friends when we got together. But they were doin the same thing so it didn't really help. But it was allot of fun.
A longer game with less repetitive levels. I know we are goin inside but do all the caves/hallways have to look the same?

I hope they keep the openess and great exploratory aspect of the game. I played it over and over again to try out new stuff (like trying to get the Warthog deep into the installation on Silent Cartographer)
More Covenant (and something tougher than the Hunters)
No Flood!!!
Keep the two weapon limit. You have to make choices about weapon combos and not just be a walking armory.
I'd love to see them add Cooperative play from different screens too.

and then I took it through the path to the base in the centre and used it to run down those fat guys.

1. Less repetitive levels... many, many of the levels repeated themselves. A little repetition is okay, but there was one level with the flood that just lasted for-freaking-ever.
2. I would occasionally like be be the gunner in a vehicle in single player while the computer drives.
3. Jetpacks. I want a jet pack, dammit.
