If you could only have one game....

Ok folks, here it is, the proverbial question: If you could only take one game to a desert island (and the system, including PCs) which would it be. To make things more interesting, we'll assume you can get high-speed internet access via satellite or something.

For me, I'd have to go with the PC and the Day of Defeat Half-Life mod. Hours of fun-filled action blowing away people you don't know.

Weeeeee!

Plus with in game chat, I won't need a volleyball to keep me company.

Quake II with access to all the mods. I would be able to play that game for quite some time!

Civilization.

I'd pick Civ 3 as it's the most updated.

If I had internet access I'd probably be a) downloading more games or b)asking people how to get off this damn island.

I was going to say that one or Vice City when it comes out. However, if Animal Crossing turns out to be fun I might pick that one since its an open ended play forever game.

If I have a PC and an internet connection, I don't really need to bring any games since I can just get them all on the web or Kazaa... is that cheating?

Getting games on Kazaa is rough, they have nothing very good.

For me, I would have a next generation MMORPG, either Everquest II, Shadowbane, Horizon, Star Wars, etc... I'm not very sure which one since none are out.

Well, I would say "Final Fantasy VII", but that might get old after a while. And I've beaten "Mega Man 2" too many times. Hmmm, I think it'd either be Tetris or a pinball machine (hopefully a good one, like "Eight Ball Deluxe" or "The Twilight Zone").

Fine - if i have an internet connection and a PC, I can just order games from EB or something - if you say no to that, then I'll just use my PC to email for help so I can get back to civilization.

Yeah, if you can tell me how I can go live on an island with electricity and high-speed internet, and all I have to do is sit around and play games, where do I sign up?

I can't get any better than 73,000. Many people have high scores in the billions - stupid hackers.

Exactly.

Alright, to stay in the spirit of the question though, assume you're stuck with one game and no downloads (of other games). Mods are allowed though since it's still from one game.
