I've been waiting Forever for this.
I've overplayed NiGHTS and XMas NiGHTS for the last 2 years. Please tell me Naka has something planned?

There is supposed to be a Nights mini game in Phantasy Star Online for Gamecube that can be played on the Gameboy.
I know thats no substitute though for a real sequel. I liked this game on the Saturn as well. I'm surprised Sega hasn't done a sequel. It would look amazing on the new consoles.

"XenGamers: Will we ever see another Nights game?
Naka: The GBA Nights game is on display in the E3 Nintendo booth. [Until the GBA version] I hadn't seen Nights in a long time, so it was nice seeing it again. Who knows? "
From that statement I get the impression he was not even considering a sequel. If he hadn't seen it in a long time it must not even be in the planning stages . Of course now that its been brought up he might...we can only hope.

I don't see them making another one, as its kind of a special title for them, and it didnt sell amazingly well compared to a new Sonic title or something.
But I realllly hope they do.
I think we have a better chance at a remake of NiGHTS, with updated graphics, then a sequel.

I think I read in an interview somewhere awhile back that one of the reasons he didn't want to make a sequel was becase people were having unrealistic expctations of the game to be near, if not perfect, among other reasons.
Can anyone verify this?
