Mark of Kri......eh?

I rented Mark Of Kri this past weekend. It was pretty good I admit but there was just something missing. The cutscenes were in the form of drawings and they just looked too much like Disney characters. For a game with a mature rating something about that just rubbed me the wrong way.

One of the cool features was Kuzu, your crow spirit guide. You'd send Kuzu ahead and you can see thru his eyes to scout out the territory ahead. The targeting system was also good. Using the right analog stick to target enemys and then it asigns the a button for that enemy.

The game was a good rental but I don't think I'll rush out to purchase it anytime soon.

If anyone else has played it what are your impressions?

I believe it was 2 former Disney animators that helped in the visual concepts of the game. Good game but after a while there was too much sneaking around. At first it was cool to sneak up and kill them but after that the animation got repetitive.

I personally love seeing the scene get "drawn-in", then filled in more, then colored, then that animation frame becoming you in the game.
