"The Kings of Gamingland" (Joke Thread)
"In the begining God said 'Let there be Games' and there was Pong, and it was good..."
But over the centuries the heroic land of Gamedom was quarreled after and divided. Untill the first holy Atri Infintry fought for a united gamedom and eventualy one. But like all thing the Atari Empire would eventualy fall. Now the archeologists of gamedom uncover anchent Atarian relics in primitive arcades that were burried by a volcano.
Now days in Gamedom tree Kings rule the land. First is the Old House Nintindoni. The Nintindoni's are the oldest and longest ruling kingdom in the world of Gamedom. Thier culture is one of Tradition, Discipline, and patience. Nintidonians are loyal citizens that revel in the unmatched history and tradition that the Great Nintin gives them.
The next Kingdom is the Citizen's Commune of Playstationious. More of a democratic collective than an actual Kingdom the land of Playstationious is the most prosperious and most civil of any kingdom in Gamedom. The Playstationian's live happy lives in subburbs with 2.5 children and live very well balanced lives as they play a well balanced gamut of every game imaginable. The Playstationiou's Citizen's Army is the largest numbers wise of any in Gamedom.
The newst Kingdom is that of the Xboxzi. The Xboxzi people are not Indiginous to Gamedom, rather they traveled to the planet by spacecraft. Their Technology and Science is far more advanced than the rest of Gamedom but thier Army is smaller and more compact than any other Kingdom. The Xboxzian Emporor, Lord High Master Gates, is said to own much of the known galaxy and many of the other Denizens of Gamedom fear Gamedom is next in line of Gate's Invasion.
THe three Kingdoms live in a relative harmony with each other now. But the elder citizens know peace is futile. Some nights, when an old buzzard has had too much beer down at the corner saloon, old tales are told of the long lost Kingdom of Segas and the legendary Knights of Segas. The legend says that the Kingdom of Segas was once large enough and powerful enough to rival the Nintindonis. But as time passed the Rulers of Segas squandered the fortunes of the Kingdom and ruined the once mighty empire. The last King of Segas, Lord Dreamus Castias, lead the Knights of Segas in a final charge agasint the Playstationians and Nintindonis but were decimated. The legend says that lord Dreamus Castius, with his final breath, cast a spell that would bind the Knights of Segas to the other Kingdoms and any futre Kingdoms that might come along. Making the Kingts of Segas immortal in the land of Gamedom.
At least thats how the legends go....
