Amazon is selling this game for $39.99. While that's the new price point for most Sony developed games, this one lists for $59.99. The reason is that it comes with a voice command adaptor. I have to assume that the price is a mistake. Use one of the many $5 off $35 coupons available and this is even a better deal.

Note: the game requires broadband for multiplayer but has a complete single player option as well.

I was tempted to post about this last week. Amazon has a few errors on the listing for the game, including a wrong release date. I really wouldn't be surprised if you get a price correction on this. Probably best to wait until we get a sneak peak at the ads for that week. I can see Bestbuy having a somewhat decent deal on this combined with the purchase of an adapter.

actually it was priced at this a month or so ago as it was posted here and I pre ordered it. Wouldn't you think they would have fixed a pricing error after a month?

Oops, sorry for the repost. I guess it was burried pretty far back. Still, it's a really good price, as I haven't seen it for less than $60 anywhere else.

Does anyone know a site that will let you preorder the modem? I'm afraid of a massive shortage of these babies. I just have a feeling it'll be like launch day all over again

Its a great price if they actually keep it. But the fact that they have it just at "our price" with no "list price" or "you save" makes me think it will be fixed soon.
