Madden 2003 PS2 glitch?
Just curious if anyone else has had this problem:
When playing a game, after the half all of the offensive players for both teams are replaced by the backups. I can put my guys back in, but the AI doesn't let me put in the other teams. This makes for very unfair games.
IS there a way to turn this off, or is it just a random glitch?

If you are talking about the preseason games in franchise mode, then this is correct - the backups and rookies come in at halftime, just like the real NFL. You actually want the backups in, because their play in the exhibition season determines how much of a boost their attributes get.

You were probably playing a preseason game. Starters play only a few drives in real life and coaches usually let backups play for rest of the game. It's very realistic what EA has done. EA Sports. IT'S IN THE GAME!
