Video Game overkill

Now that I realize that you can play video games on my Dish network reciever, I just realized how many game systems I have plugged into one TV. There is the satellite, the megadrive, NES, SNES, N64, dreamcast, and Gamecube! I'd take a pic, but it is just a mess of cables everywhere.

Is this overkill? They all get played some time or another.

Should I try to complete the collection? What do I need besides atari, saturn, PS1 PS2 and xbox?

I could go on and on. Unless you have a ton of money and time I wouldn't try to collect every console.
