ps2 & dts

does anyone know if new PS2 games will ever incorporate dolby digital 5.1 or dts sound into their games?

There are already games with in game DTS sound (EA sports titles like SSX Tricky and NHL2002 for example). Some games, like MGS2 and FFX, have DD cutscenes.

There will never be a game with DD5.1 during gameplay as the PS2 cannot handle it. I have no clue how EA pulled off DTS, but I would expect them to use it in upcoming games. I have no clue if NCAA 2003 or NFL 2003 from EA uses it as I do not have either.

DTS on PS2 is in the software,it takes up space on the disc while Xbox supports it and can be used without useing space,EA can do this because they got the loot to support it,its one of the reason's EA went to DVD instead of CD to get the extra room that was needed.

Madden 2003 doesn't have DTS sound. only dolby surround.

I do hope more games have DTS, but it doesn't matter much since I don't have DTS sound in the first place. I will either get a system for x-mas or my birthday.
