Game Informer used to be HEAVILY biased, but they have gotten better these days.

I got my last issue too. What pissed me off, was when I ripped off the huge 'RENEW YOUR SUBSCRIPTION OR DIE" paper, they were too damn cheap to include the glue to hold the magazine in place. So I have pages everywhere. Ahhh... I need another freebie...

As long as it wasn't nintendo related (they felt HYBRID HEAVEN, MILO'S ASTRAL LANE, SPACE STATION SILICONE VALLEY was fames of the year!!), they trashed everything, including (god forbid) TEKKEN 3, FINAL FANTASY 8, METAL GEAR, APE ESCAPE, etc. Mr Nintendo must have paid those high school drops outs with free N64 games is my guess.

Surprisingly my free subscription go renewed somehow. I didn't send in any cards or anything and *boom* I get an issue in today's mail and my subscription will expire Sept 04. Not that I'm complaining but it was just weird. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah my subscription ended over 2 or 3 months ago, yet somehow I continue to receive them without ever paying a dime.

Gamepro might very well be the worst mag, but at least it covers the Neo Geo (the latest issue has a blurb on Rage of The Dragons).

Its occupies me when Im taking a load off in the Toilet.

Kind of off-topic, but does anyone remember Gamefan magazine? I used to love this mag when I was younger. Of course then they decided they were worth 6 bucks an issue due to the glossy layout, but I really liked their reviews and all the articles they did. I used to visit the website too, but I guess they went under, and of course DIDN'T refund me my subscription. Bastards. Other than that I really liked that magazine.

how about gamenow, it seems similar to gamepro.

Gamenow seems to be the EGM publisher's answer to Gamepro. It seems to be targeted towards a younger audience too.

I checked: my GamePro subscription was extended to sometime in 2003.

Hey, my unasked-for, free extension to my free year's subscription is also only for one year through October 2003! I feel ripped off after reading this thread.
