Tork for XBox.. Second coming? Or crap?
Haven't heard much about this game, and I didnt really care to.
But today I picked up "Play" magazine or something similar, and saw that Dave Halverson (i think he's been in 20 or 30 game magazines now) talking about it as being the #1 game at E3.
Apparently, he thinks it will set the mascot world ablaze and be the next big thing...
I dont really know anythign about this game, could anyone comment or speak what they know?
I do know that its being developed by the same people who did Rayman 2, which I hear was a very very good platformer, and one I should probably pick up for Dreamcast ASAP?
Thanks

Everything I've read about the game has been positive. I think the main reason there hasn't been a huge amount of coverage yet is because it's not due out until spring of next year. So, magazines have been focusing on the platformers that are coming out this fall, instead. There are several movies of Tork on xbox.com and IGN/Gamespot.
As for Rayman 2, it's definitely worth checking out if you like platformers.

Some good talk of Tork on the new OXM #10, as well as a good video of it on the demo disc..
Looks interesting... I wonder if Blinx or Tork will end up the semi-official mascot of the Xbox...
I still think it should be MAster Chief, but that wouldnt really give something for kids to associate with...

Yes, I am getting more and more interested in this, as it looks like a very solid platformer, and Rayman 2 was heralded as one of the best ever.
If Tork turns out to be awesome, would be nice to see a series for this.. Tork 2 with a new sidekick with multiple tails.. Tork 3 with a new enemy thats red.. Tork 4 with lock-on technology via the dvd.
it could be awesome!
