Some pics of Dodo flying and other oddities in GTA3...

Well, I was extremely bored and luckily so was my girlfriend so I had her snap some shots of Liberty City from the air. Some of the pictures are kind of blurry, shes not the best photographer

Those are smooth......I need to take the time and learn how to fly the dodo better. Just finished the game again for about the fourth time....cannot say that about too many games which I have owned for less than one year.

Heh, I'm still on the first game I started...trying to get everything. I'm 4 missions short (3 of which are those hard offroad hidden missions) and I have no clue what 1 mission would be. I also got screwed out of a unique jump I think, I have 19/20 but I have done them all, I dont get it. Also got 7 Rampages left. The game just never ends I recently practiced dodo flying and can now finally fly forever if needed, its quite fun.

This guy flew the Dodo for 178,488 seconds, he has a lot of interesting GTA pics on his site too.

Maybe you didn't fly far enough on one of them I know one of them I had a problem with was on the second island were you drive down the middle of bridge/street on the grass, and go inbetween the trees and jump and if you don't land far enough on the next bridge you don't get credit for it we did that one with a couple cars before I got it. I presonally can't fly the damn thing i think 8 seconds is my best. I have 1 mission left (didn't get enough kill son rumpos rampage I think either that or it's the offroad on the 3rd island I don't remember) 4 jumps, and 9 rampages.

What is the key to flying the Dodo? Do you take off from the runway where you find it, or is there another location where you better your chances of flying? I tried messing around with it for hours, I could only stay in the air for about 15 seconds. Am I just the worst video game player on the face of the earth?

By the way, nice picks. Very cool.

The trick to flying is that you push UP on the analog during takeoff untill sparks come from underneath the plane. Then you let go of the analog and it should lift off the ground. Always keep it level by pushing UP during flight, you should rarely pull back...this makes you stall. It takes some practice, I used to really suck (could only get 4-6 seconds). Now I can cruise around anywhere I want, its quite fun.

I guess I really suck. I am still trying to win the drag race from the start. I guess this is like getting my butt kicked on-line with Dark Forces II..

Very cool shots. Gives me hope....
