Help: Looking for Wireless Controller for Xbox and for PS2

Hi all,

Ever since I got my Wavebird for my Gamecube, I have been looking for a wireless controller for my Xbox and one for my PS2.

Can anyone here recommend one or two that they have used and are happy with it?

I have seen the MadCatz 900mhz for the PS2, but none for the Xbox.

Any help would be appreciated......

I don't think there is a Wavebird caliber controller available for the other systems.

Logitech is making ones for both the ps2 and xbox, iirc. It'll cost around $60, but I'm not sure when it's coming out.

Mad Catz has a 900 Mhz wireless controller for the PS2. They are like $50. From what i hear, they work as well as the wavebirds do.

Here's a link about the Logitech one: TeamXbox Article. It says on the article that it will be $70, but I remember hearing it would be $60.

I would caution against buying any third party controller as a general rule. The Wavebird is fantastic, but no third-party wireless control is as functional, and no third party controller has ever been as good as the first party controls, in my opinion, and in most people's opinions.

I agree that no thrid pary controller for the other system can match the Wavebird, but it would be nice to find something that would work.

I don't have to much of a problem but my two year old boy keeps terrorizing me when he runs over (through) my controler cables.... so this is why I would like one.....

At least the Xbox has a really nice trip and release design. I've walked through the cable and not even noticed I unplugged it.

What I'd like to see is an adapter to allow you to plug a GCN controller in a PS2 and X-box and hence use the wavebird.

They have adapters to use the PS2 controller on other systems, so I don't see why they couldn't make one for the GCN controller.
