This game looks amazing.

I hope they continue to make the Panzer Dragoons...

I've never played a Panzer Dragoon game, anyone know what the "mission objectives" or whatever are like?

The first 2 games in the series were "on-rails" shooters. Panzer Dragon Zwei (II) was/is one of my all time favorite games. ThHe third game in the series was Panzer Dragoon Saga, which added major RPG elements to the games.

Although "on-rails" the games featured branching paths that you could choose. One usually being more challenging than the other. The boss battles were also very dramamtic w/ excellent use of the orchestral soundtrack to build the tension. Plus the graphics for all the games in this series have been excellent.

That's what I can remeber for now.

Agreed. In my closet, boxed up, there lies a Sega Saturn.

And 4 games.

Panzer Dragoon 2
NiGHTS
XMAS NiGHTS
Panzer Dragoon Saga

I'm never selling the system or any of those 4 games. FWIW, PDS is still sealed too.

Sonic Jam
PAnzer Dragoon/Panzer Dragoon SAga
Shining Force 3

I used to have 2 copies, a sealed and an opened. I beat the opened one 2 times, and now have no desire at this time to play it again. So it stays sealed.

Panzer Dragoon Saga is still my favorite RPG. Yes, its short, but fighting on the Dragon was the best battle engine I've ever used in a RPG. Plus, I loved the story. I've played it through at least 5 times and I could pick it up and play it again anytime.

I was unsure of Orta since its back more to the shooter style of the originals, but the way its looking I'm sure I will pick it up. I hope the demo ends up on a Xbox magazine disc.

When's release? October, November?

I think I'll ask for this one as a Christmas gift from my girlfriend or something, I like to save some "great" games to receive as presents..

You could probably sell the sealed one for big bucks.

$202.50, closed auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1365165143

check out the description:

This is an absolutely flawless copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Sega Saturn. I purchased two copies of this game and only used one copy for play. You are bidding on the 4-disc set that I have never played or used. The box has been opened once in order for me to take pictures of each individual disc. There is not one scratch on either of the discs and the manual does not contain a single crease. If you would like to see pictures of the backs of each disc, please email me and I will provide you with them. This game is argueably the finest role-playing/action game ever created. A completely new language and dialogue was created just for this game. Watching the characters speak and interact during the cut-scenes is worth the price of the game itself. I am offering this immaculate copy at no reserve and I will pay for shipping and insurance to anywhere in the U.S. If you are a serious gamer and know your RPG's, you will not be disappointed with this game. As many of you know, this game is incredibly rare with only 5000 copies sold in the U.S.

I have a copy that I picked up for $30 from Software Etc in the mall, I just happened to be wasting time waiting for a battery replacement at Sears.
