Square announces "Unlimited Saga"
The newest in the Saga series (Romancing Saga, Saga Frontier), it is scheduled for a December 2002 release in Japan for the PS2.
( as a snide aside, I guess the "unlimited" part is supposed to be equivalent to the "final" in Final Fantasy?)

Thanks for the links to those pictures, I've known about this game but have never seen any pictures of it. It looking pretty good. I liked Saga Frontier 2 (it was a lot better than Saga Frontier 1, even though neither of them touched the awesome Romancing Saga 3). The watercolor artwork and lovely piano music was quite unique and refreshing for this kind of game. I hope they got the same composer (she also did many of the piano pieces in Final Fantasy X btw). Hopefully they'll bring it out in the US *crosses fingers*

I bet it will come out to the US. What late Square games haven't made to the US? Square has too much of a fanbase here to not take the opportunity to earn profits especially when they need money to rebuild their company.
