Famitsu has been around for a very long time and are pretty much respected by everyone. Their reviews and sales charts have been sited by many gaming magazines and websites such as IGN, EGM, Gamespot, etc. Even the long gone publications such as Next-Generation, GameFan, etc. reported on Famitsu scores.

I care if people reported on Famitsu scores..
Mind you, the only reason they did it was because Famitsu usually reviewed games first.. Now that America gets games first alot of times, I am sure Famitsu and other Japanese gaming magazines actually cite some of our magazines, possibly EGM for all we know!
Nobody cited Famitsu because they were amazing at reviewing games or something, and if you ever read the translated reviews, you'd know thats not the case.

"I have a hard time trusting anyone whose full-time job is reviewing video games. That's why I love the reviews from the folks here. I'm sure this Mario will be great and I don't need a review to tell me to get it."
Wow, an intelligent person.

No I don't like Dating Sims. I didn't say I liked everything the Japanese did. I just hate the typical Amercian/European developed games like FPSs, RTS, Morrowind type RPGs etc.
I like platformers, fighting games, action/adventure games (think Zelda or Eternal Darkness, Sports games, and the occasional tradtionaly RPG like a Final Fantasy game, and that's it.
