Vampire Night for PS2?

Is Vampire Night for PS2 good?

I can't find it in any local stores or online except ebay.

I just got back from Frys Electronics and they had this game. It looks good but I am unwilling to pay $50 until I find out for sure how it is.

Read this on IGN, good thing I waited.

Like most light gun games, Vampire Night can be beaten in less than an hour, but unlike some of the better ones, you won't likely have the urge to play this one over and over again. The game is also fairly easy and while the bosses are nicely designed and immensely cool, their patterns are pretty basic and not too hard to figure out.

Bought this one awhile back. If you like House of the Dead you will like it, but I agree it is pretty easy to beat. I've played it through a few times, but its probably a rental for most people.

It's a fun game, but like the others said, way to easy.

I've seen some ads for Endgame, which was scheduled to come out this month (I'm unsure if it already has) - it looks like a fairly cool lightgun game (Guncon2 compatible). I passed on vampire nights, after the lackluster review on IGN.

Edit to add: I see you're asking about Endgame further down, so I guess you're aware of that one

How do you compare Time Crisis II with Vampire Night? Which one is easier? Thanks!

I saw Endgame in most of the local stores, but none of them come with Guncon2

Yes, you are right, they have it at outpost.com... but it is $59, a little more than Totalactionuniverse.com .

Thanks!

I have Vampire Night and it's OK if you like this type of game, though I hardly replay this game. I don't have a gun so maybe when I do buy one I'll play this again.

Fry's had two different games on display with the guncon2. Both were priced normal at $59 but the sign in front of them said $49. I have noticed that the online prices seem to be more though so if you have a local frys you might want to go there for it.

I dont like IGN's reviews. I got to play this a year ago at E3 and as far as Guncon games go this one is good. Id say rent it first, but for me being a fan of lightgun games Its a must. Im picking it up next weekend.
