Just got an item that cannot be traded and it's Wirts Leg
What can I use it for other than a weapon?Can I sell it?Caues its a lousy weapon even it can be socketed.

It's been a while, so I don't remember the details, but hold on to it. IIRC, it can be used to get to a secret level.

Don't worry about it....after you kill the last boss...Baal if I remember right for the Expansion Pack...Diablo if its just regular D2....then you can access the Secret Cow Level...great for experience. Combine Wirts Leg and a full tome of town portal in your cube...and a red portal will appear in act 1 wherever you transmute the two items.

DO NOT KILL THE COW KING! Once you do this you won't be able to open the secret level again. You can do this level over and over for great experience if you want.

The leg will always be there when you start a new game. Just go to the stony field and to Tristram through the red portal by the 5 stones.

Do the level...restart...get the leg again...transmute another red portal...do cow level again.

Be careful...at Hell difficulty...the cows are nasty.

Edited to add: You have to be in the camp in Act1 I believe to open the portal. Just a clarification.
