Whoa. Those pics look more appealing than even the pre-rendered shots from before!

OK. Wow. Nothing released before has been that impressive, but these almost made my jaw drop. If they can come through with the gameplay to match, this will be a great game.

As a Metroid game, I am too disappointed to speak, but as a FPS, it looks pretty good.

Ok... so the whole game is a first person shooter? Does Samus still do somesaults when she jumps? That would look weird in first person; cool and disorienting at the same time.

The game will be in third-person some of the time, like when she does somersaults.

Here's a Metroid Prime video Link, it's a mirror site but the original link can be found here. I couldn't get it to stream, the servers are getting hammered, but it worked when I saved it to disk.

I beat the demo

This game is killer. I just got back from day 1 at E3, and this game was on my must play list. I had many reserves about it being a FPS but I must admit the adjustment was made easily. The game shifts from firt to third mainly for cinematics, and when you turn Samus into a ball. Keep the faith everyone this game is going rule!

Like Zero said, this game is awsome and I also just got home from day of E3 and that game was awsome. Plus it always helps when they play all there games on either hdtv television and flat panel screens.

I thought Nintendo has the best booth IMO, i spent 75% of my time in the West wing (sega, sony, nintendo).
