Question: State of emergency at blockbuster

Does anyone happen to know when state of emergency might be moved from rental to the previously played section? or how much it might be?

Maximo has been out slightly less time than State of emergency and it's already being sold at the cheapass price of 9.99, so i'm hoping SoE will be almost as cheap.

It's posted in the memorial day sale, so it's gotta be comin soon.
http://www.blockbuster.com/bb/articl...T-659,00.html?

And it better be under 20 bucks because I can buy a brand new one at BestBuy for 30 - $5 coupon.

Thanks!

State Of Emergency has been available to purchase since the last Blockbuster promotion (buy 2 get 1 free). It was $29.99, but I beleive it's been marked down to $14.99.

Stay FAR away from this game, though......It's terrible!

Thanks for the heads up about the games crappiness. I had heard it wasn't exceptional, but ign gave it 8.3/10 and gamespot gave it 8.5/10, so I figure it's gotta be pretty fun at least.

For 15 bucks, I'll probably pick it up especially after the 25% off discount. The problem is that the 2 blockbusters near me are still renting this game. ( i just checked them today) So, I dont' know why they haven't moved it to the for sale section yet.
I'll have to keep checking them.

I had fun playing SOE, but it gets tired very quickly. I picked it up during the buy 2 get 1 free promotion and traded it in when I got Resident Evil for Game Cube.

It's an ok game but nowhere near GTA3. I'd pretty much forgotten all about it within a couple weeks. THere are missions that are frustratingly hard and repetitive. Even if the mission objectives are unique storywise the actions you have to do are always pretty much the same. I got it cheap so it's no big but I wouldn't go out of my way for this one.

If there is a KB Toys in your area, you can pick up this title brand new for $15. Special sale going on.

I had a lot of fun with this game for a few weeks, and I promptly forgot about it until I traded it in. It's so repetitive. The mission stages get boring very quickly.

For 15 bucks, it might be worth it. Game Crazy actually gave me more than that when I traded it in a few weeks ago...
