I'm getting an x box, finally dropped the price tag!!!!! I love first person shooters but my roommate who's putting in some cash hates them . He likes 3rd person for some unknown reason. Is there a way to switch perspective in the game????

No, but once you jump inside of any vehicle like the warthog or the flying ships or hovering ships, the perspective switches to 3rd person.

Your friend should check out Silent Hill 2 and/or Onimusha. Both are great '3rd person' games.

Max Payne should tickle his fancy for a 3rd Person Shooter.

I got Max Payne and he loves it. It's wierd I play unreal Tournament or RTCW and he's like oh that's cool I guess

Onimusha on XBOX is a pain in the ass but it looks good.
