Game Informer reports PS2 price drop might be near.
In the current issue of Game Informer, it was reported that Sony plans to announce a long awaited price drop of the Playstation 2. According to the article, when questioned a Sony representitive said that couldn't comment on it at this time.

This isn't really new news...it's been widely known for some time that Sony will announce the pricedrop at E3.
Isn't this the same magazine that "announced" that GTA3 was coming on the Gamecube?

I don't trust any magazine run by the parent company of Funcoland.
