Just old news in the article. But I do agree that Metroid Prime is shaping up to be great. It's going to be a great year for Gamecube owners with Resident Evil, Eternal Darkness, Mario Sunshine, Star Fox Adventure, Metroid Prime, maybe Zelda, all the EA Sports games, full Sega Sports support including college football and basketball.

I pass by Retro Studios every day on the way to drop my son off for school. I sometimes get the urge to just drop by and ask to see it in action. Maybe even offer to game test it for them. :P

If you mean release date, that hasn't been announced yet. Maybe at E3. I think there's a good chance of it being playable at E3.
My guess is that it will come out around the same time as Metroid Prime, and that is rumored to be coming in November.
