I'm not too sure, but if you combine X-box and Gamecube the number of games available actually breaks into double digits.

Frogger on Atari 2600 was the pinnacle of gaming excellence. For several decades man has attempted to make a game of its caliber but has been met only with failure.

Triple digits actually.

65 XBox games + 43 Gamecube games = 108 games available.

yeah this is total sweetness!! I saw it on TV when they revealed it on Friday.

It was awesome when they had the power on every system and they used the AV switcher knob to switch through all the systems on the screen.

"....here's PS2.....*click*...here's Gamecube...*click*.....here's XBox...*click* here's Nintendo" I think I remember them saying it costed around $4,000 though.....but! you can play practically any game you want on that thing.

Yoshi's da man! I also like the stuffed bear he turned into an ethernet router, complete with LED eyes that light up when the network is in use!

So much time, and so much effort to make something so ugly. Wow.

That thing has to overheat in no time. I can see the whole thing going up in flames!

I thought that at first, but if you look at the inside he seems to leave big enough holes for the GC's vents, and there is a fan on the PS2 (although I'm not sure if that's the fan that is already inside the PS2), in addition to several fans on the PC motherboard.

The only way I could see myself wanting or building one of these is if there was a way to have every console work with one controller. It would have to be either an XBox or PS2 controller, as those have enough buttons for all of the systems.

Another thing I would suggest is that I think it would be easier to just have good emulators installed on the PC part of the system instead of the real SNES, Genesis, NES, Neo*Geo, etc. taking up room inside.

I would agree, except that I have yet to encounter any of these "good emulators" that you refer to. I've used several, and while they all more or less work, when it comes to the more complicated (aka important) things like...oh, say, saving your game... well, I've been less than impressed. None of the emulators I've ever used have been fully functional/reliable. Until/unless that is no longer the case, my choice would be to sacrifice the space for reliability. Plus, don't the ROMs usually run in DOS mode? Would they be compatible with a controller at all?

But back to the issue, this guy clearly did this just as a challenge to himself. So it makes sense that he would want to get as many systems physically into the box as possible.

Just my $0.02

Why bother saving the game when you can just save the state?
