I don't know about anyone else but, Mortal Kombat is the $#!T. I kan't wait for the game. Tekken and the rest of the lame fighting games in my opinion don't even kompare. There's nothing better than a good,old fashioned, ass kickin, BLOODY fatality!

Mortal Kombat was pretty good until 3 came out, then it's been crap since then sorry to say. Hopefully the new one will be at a level that the original and 2 were at, but my hope is not very high.

MK had its day, now the world is run by quality like Soul Calibur and Virtua Fighter.

Babality

Boy there hasn't been a real mortal kombat game in a while. I enjoyed the 2d games much more than MK4 though. It just didn't feel right in 3 dimensions. I think they will need to change the control scheme considerably to get a good feel for a 3d version. I thought trilogy was ok, but 1 and 2 were the definite best.

MK used to be cool.

I just don't think I can go back to the days of 'back back forward forward, A+B+up' is equal to one crappy move.

A game like soul calibur is much more fun.

With tough competition like VF4, SC, and Tekken, MK better offer something innovative along with a revamped engine. The last few installments have been really stale.

MK looks just like an average 3d fighter right now. I doubt it will really make a big difference in game play. looks like your basic mk. Sorry, but if its anything like the last one.. its gonna suck arse. theres more the fighters then simple blood... its called game play.. MK hasn't had that in there games for some time now.
