I have been playing FF7 for awhile now, and just got around to going to the arena and winning omnislash. Cloud knows all of his other limit breaks up to "finishing touch" but for some reason, when I try to use omnislash so that he learns it, he says something like "huh, I don't understand." What did I forget to do?

i think you have to learn all your limit breaks up to the last one before he will learn it. its been a long time since i played but i remember gettting everyones limit break to max before they could learn the special ones

Not only do you need each limit break you need to have maxed out each break. IIRC I had to go back and use the first level limit break on Red to get him to learn his final break. Although, it's been quite a while since I went through the game. You can always check out the walkthroughs on gamefaqs.com
