I've got a bunch of people on my buddy list (I registered, and so should you :))... when you say "when you log on it will display any buddies," does it automatically do that, or do I click on the Buddies folder on the left side?

If you have the "show playing buddies" checked it will automatically show them when you lauch the all seeing eye.

How much is it to register? I don't see it.

Or you can right-click on buddy window (bottom and left corner), you can add buddies or show playing buddies there.

I get John McClane playing Half Life all the time too. But it's not our Anthony Soprano. Nor is that other "Shuki" me. The only game I play online is MOHAA. If there are two shuki's on it will list them both along with the game they're in. If it's me it'll be MOHAA.

I have been getting lot of server timeouts lately. Only servers I have played, had no problems with it. Static Cling was playing on one server recently and I got the server timeout! :mad::mad:

I already have 1.11v9 patch installed.

I just got the game today and installed it plus the latest patch. I've had a few problems though where I'd choose a game from Gamespy and launch MoHAA. It would say connecting to server, then it would just go to the main menu without displaying any kind of error messages at all. Any suggestions?

I like the multuplayer better than CS so far, but I wish the choosing of the servers was better. I don't like Gamespy at all. Having to exit out of the game completely then start it right back up when you choose a new server is silly. Also, no way to alt-tab back to Windows while in game??

You need the All Seeing Eye. It is a download that lists all the servers that are running for you without having to deal with all the BS ads from Gamespy.

crip, as a fellow med student, I'm telling you... run away from this game if you haven't gotten hooked already. :) I blame it for more than a few missed test questions. ;)

No alt-tab back to windows, just doesn't support it.
Try the All seeing eye as was already mentioned
Try the in-game browser. Go into the multiplayer room and select join game, internet game then browse servers. You might have better luck there.
Make sure you have 1.11 patch.

The 1.11 patch improves the in-game browser greatly... however, there is a respawn cheat that seems to be limited to the 1.11 version (I never saw anyone doing it on 1.1).

Strange. I <b>know</b> I had applied the patch before, but I still didn't have an in-game browser for multiplayer games. I did see some of the bug fixes listed in the readme for the patch, but not that one. I reapplied the patch and now the browser is there. Strange. I know the patch was at least partially there though since my save games from pre-reapplial still work post-reapplial.

The respawn cheat is like when you get killed within 20 second of start and you choose different weapon, then you get back into game, right?

Yeah, I felt stupid complaining about it... but I really felt like my shots weren't connecting. Switched servers... and call it coincidence, or whatever... and my game perked up to its normal level. :)

I saw the server you were on and tried to join...but it was full already. I joined another and my game mysteriously picked up too...go figure.

I hit that one guy with 4 direct shots...and nada...and the sniper is supposed to be a one shot kill.

I noticed something during single-player mode today. Sometimes if you throw a grenade near a group of two or more enemies, one of the enemies will throw himself onto the grenade while the other(s) get away. Pretty sweet. Maybe its because I'm playing on he hardest difficulty setting, but the AI seems pretty damn good.

One very annoying thing that I've found is that enemies in both single and multiplayer don't always shoot in the direction that their gun is facing. The most glaring example I saw was in a single-player level when there was an enemy on the second floor of a building I was in overlooking a stairwell. I was coming into the stairwell below him. His gun was pointing horizontal yet I got shot, meaning his shots were travelling vertically. Silly me thinking I was safe since his gun was pointing the wrong way :)

Did anybody noticed that all multiplayers server ping went up yesterday?

We play objective mostly and sometimes team matches. If anybody has a clan out there we can fool around and have clan matches. You can message me on gamespy "[-sKFx-]Berzerker" or "[-sKFx-]Tenacious G!" Oh yeah, and find some blood mods, they're so cool. I've got about 5 on my game and they make blood spurt and spatter in every direction, leave stains on floor, etc...fun stuff...

Well I just got this game. Played it for the first time (besides the demo) last night and made it through the sub level. I love love love it!

I think I'll finish the single player before joining you guys in a game so I don't get my butt kicked too hard.

I don't understand why you can't lay prone though? If the enemies are doing it you should be able to too. It would be so cool to get down on your belly and roll around while firing the machine gun.

I picked this game up today, and if you still want I can run a dedicated server for my dvdtalkers. So let me know what you think, and what kind of game, and options you want on it. And a possible server name.

That would be awesome, Spicolli. I think you should do it. Objective is great because DVDtalkers are like a family, right? And teamwork will help the family grow and work together as a unit, to accomplish a fixed task while blowing the evil DVDtalkers brains out. Maybe 20 people max, and DVDtalkers have to put -=DVD=- in front of their names and then their DVDtalk nick to show who they really are. And if non-DVDers come in we can talk trash and kick them and put them in their place.
